| Oliver Birch
Ollie is a co-founder of en masse. He wrote, composed and performed in The Echo Chamber, The Ignatius Trail, The Shelter, The Iceberg and We All Fall Down and is currently developing two new plays for the company. Ollie completed a BA Hons Acting at LAMDA in 2006, during which he was the recipient of the Laurence Olivier - Behrens Bursary. His acting credits include Twelfth Night at Chichester Festival Theatre, The Changing Room at the Royal Court, The Duchess of Malfi at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Scenes from an Execution at Hackney Empire, and Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Macbeth in the West End and on Broadway. Ollie will appear in A Month in the Country at Salisbury Playhouse during Autumn 2008. Ollie is also a talented comedian and musician, recently writing and performing in Jollie: John and Ollie Stuck Together at the EdFringe 08 with his writing partnership www.biddleandbirch.co.uk. |

Amy Leach Amy directed and produced The Echo Chamber, The Ignatius Trail, The Shelter, The Iceberg and We All Fall Down all for en masse. She is a co-founder of the company and is currently developing two new productions. Amy is a freelance Director and Drama Facilitator, and trained on the National Theatre Directors Course. She has worked extensively on projects for Manchester Royal Exchange, National Youth Theatre, Bolton Octagon, the National Trust, English Heritage, BAC London, Box Clever Theatre and the Watford Palace. Amy recently directed Dr Korczak's Example by David Grieg for the Royal Exchange Studio. She will direct Richard Shannon's new play Sabbat at The Dukes Theatre, Lancaster in January 2009. Amy was shortlisted for an Arts Foundation Fellowship 2007 in the Creators of Theatre for Children and Young People category and she was a finalist in the Rising Stars Category for the art07 Awards. |
