Take some of Shakespeare’s best-loved plays, turn them into stories, mix up with an actor, a musician and an illustrator; present to an audience and what do you get? Children falling in love with Britain’s greatest treasure.
The Animated Tales of Shakespeare was created for the Shakespeare Unplugged Festival 2010 to introduce primary age children to the stories of Shakespeare. The stories chosen were Macbeth and The Tempest, and the hour long performance played ten performances in the egg at the Theatre Royal Bath and ten performances in local primary schools.
